On 10th February 2026, the KPVCVBG commemorated the loss of the destroyer HMAS Voyager and 82 lives, on the night of 10th February 1964, in a collision with the aircraft carrier HMAS Melbourne.
Chaplain Todd Galvin delivered the religious parts of the service and LEUT Craig Daniels represented HMAS Albatross.
Rhonda Jones, daughter of the late Chief Petty Officer Coxswain Jonathon Rogers GC placed a wreath on behalf of CPO Rogers GC. One of Voyager’s survivors, Duncan Fletcher, President of the HMAS Voyager Survivors Association, lay a wreath to commemorate HMAS Voyager’s crew of 10th February 1964.
