Digger Day 2025 was conducted at Shoalhaven Rugby Park in South Nowra on 26 July 2025.  The event is a celebration of all those who have served and is conducted in conjunction with the rugby match between Shoalhaven and Kiama. 

The guest of honour was Keith Payne VC, AM, Distinguished Service Cross (US), Silver Star (US), Cross of Gallantry (South Vietnam). Other dignitaries in attendance included: Captain Sam Dale (Deputy Commander Fleet Air Arm), Captain Paul Hannigan (CO HMAS Albatross), Master Chief Jeffrey Maki (US Embassy Canberra) and Councillor Selena Clancy.  The Royal Australian Navy supported the event with two EC135T2+ helicopters from 723 Squadron and the CHC Navy SAR AW139 helicopter. 

An honour guard was provided by Naval Cadets and Rachel Bostock played a haunting rendition of The Last Post on violin.
