We host a range of programs and events in the Shoalhaven region, bringing veterans together to enhance camaraderie, health, and wellbeing.

Connecting veterans through a twice weekly walk followed by a hot beverage and the sharing of stories.

Walks commence at 8am on Mondays and Fridays (except public holidays) from the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre, Nowra.

An annual celebration of our nation’s servicemen and women and showcase of the Commonwealth’s highest awards for valour: the Victoria Cross, the George Cross and Cross of Valour. Digger day is the leading fundraiser of KPVCVBG.

The next Digger Day is Saturday 25th July 2026 at Shoalhaven Rugby Park, South Nowra, in conjunction with the rugby match between Shoalhaven and Kiama.

All welcome.  Veterans are requested to wear their medals.

An annual service to support and remember the veterans who were involved in or lost their lives as a result of the collision between the aircraft carrier HMAS Melbourne and the destroyer HMAS Voyager on 10 February 1964.

The next commemoration is on 10th February 2027 at a private property at Longreach, west of Nowra.  Attendance is for members and invited guests.

An annual service to support and remember the veterans who were involved in the collision between HMAS Melbourne and the destroyer USS Frank E Evans on 3 June 1969.

An annual series of events dedicated to bringing veterans together to connect and promote health and wellbeing.

Acknowledging the contributions and sacrifices of our veterans who pass away by providing military service tributes at their funerals.

Discovering 16 forgotten First World War veterans who were laid to rest in the Nowra General Cemetery and other local cemeteries in unmarked graves. With the support of a local historian and the Department of Veterans Affairs, 15 of the graves have now received proper war graves with rededications by Navy chaplains from HMAS Albatross

Social guitar sessions open to people of all abilities. Instruments are provided and banter is encouraged.
